Doug Wilson draws upon his diverse experience in the law to help his clients.  He believes that his door should always be open to those in need.  He has spent much of his career dealing with the individual needs of his clients in the many aspects of their business dealings. 

In today's business environment, he spends much of his time assisting those involved in small to medium size corporations with their legal and business problems and future plans. 

With the ever increasing complexities of purchasing, selling, financing, and developing real estate, he continues to help clients through the changing rules and regulations involved.  His ability to help to make the complex understandable to his clients is one of his strengths. 

While much of his practice involves business entities and real estate matters, he spends considerable time with individuals in planning and meeting the needs of their individual estate planning. 

After graduating from Grove City College, a small Christian college in Western Pennsylvania, Doug went on to law school at American University in the nation's capital.  Upon graduation, he entered the United States Air Force and worked as an attorney for the Air Force Trial Attorney's Office.  While in the Air Force he attended George Washington University's law school where he obtained a Master's Degree in Law. 

He and his family came to Roanoke after leaving the Air Force and he has lived and worked in Roanoke since 1977.  Doug is a member of the American Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar. 

In addition to practicing law and advising his clients, Doug is involved with the American Heart Association (Roanoke Board Member); Christ the King Presbyterian Church (Member and sometime Sunday School Teacher) and the many sporting activities of his children.  He and his wife Suzy are the proud parents of six wonderful children.
